'Fire and Fury' author Michael Wolff tells Colbert he was surprised at the book's success

Michael Wolff, author of the inflammatory tell-all book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House (you may have heard of it) did an exclusive interview with Stephen Colbert on Monday night.

The author expressed some surprise at the public reaction to the book, because in his opinion the book doesn't reveal anything particularly... revelatory. He said he told his publisher, "There's nothing really too new in this book."

Colbert also grilled Wolff on the book's authenticity, which Wolff describes as a "version of events I believe to be true" in the book's foreword. Read more...
