'Black Panther' director sends touching thank you note to fans

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler just got all mushy on us.

The director tweeted a touching thank you note to fans on Tuesday, celebrating the film's immense success.

And he's right to gush — Black Panther not only nailed the biggest opening weekend for a solo Marvel movie, it has globally grossed $426.6 million to date, and is currently sitting at 96 percent on Rotten Tomatoes (it was previously 100 percent, some people just suck).
