The effects of Frances McDormand's epic Oscars speech are already taking hold.
On Sunday, after winning the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, McDormand finished her speech with a phrase many people hadn't heard of before: "inclusion rider".
In a nutshell, an "inclusion rider" is a contractual clause that requires a certain level of diversity to be met in a film.

Now, a few days after that speech was made, Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan has announced that his production company — Outlier Society Productions — will adopt inclusion riders for all of its projects. Read more...
